About

Jennifer Ortiz Perkins is the namesake behind the idea and design of FER. JenniFER is an artist, serial inventor and former Miami Dolphins Cheerleader who created the FER out of a fashion emergency during one of her travels to Caribbean. She wanted to pack a cardigan and a scarf but didn’t have room for both in her carry-on. Necessity is the mother of all invention and the idea of FER was born.

After many sketches, fabrics, and a whole lot of love, FER was awarded a patent from the United States Patent & Trademark Office. In addition to FER’s unmatched utility, JenniFER has ensured FER is proudly made in the USA with sustainable methods and materials.

JenniFER lives in Miami with her husband Alexander, who is a lawyer, and their son Kalon.
